Not much to show for it, managed to get round the ‘usual twelve miles’ daily route without falling off. Funnily enough it seems to be much more tiring after spending five weeks hardly moving. Went for a ride on my new bike in foul weather, ended in a couple of broken ribs eight miles in. Must be mad, can’t wait to heal up enough to get back out there.
I’ve been using this as my extended trip when doing a longer ride, just managed two consecutive weekends riding down there on the wee bike, things are starting to look possible! Here’s the ‘official’ finish – outside the main cathedral doors.
